Chuck served in the Navy from 1967-1970.  During that time he was deployed to Vietnam.  Chuck developed symptoms of ALS in approximately 2015, he was mis-diagnosed several times, they finally gave him a definitive diagnosis in 2017.  He passed away on December 31, 2018.
