I am A Navy Veteran. My DAD, Michael Bean was a AIRFOCE Veteran who lost his fight from ALS on Mothers Day 2015.Watchig him deteriorate was the hardest thing I had to do, but I am grateful that I was able to help take care of him. No one knows why or how he got ALS. He was the greatest man that I have ever known. He took care of me when my mom passed away when I was 16. He really had no idea how to raise a teenage girl all by himself but I think he did a great job! It took just over 14 months since he was finally diagnosed to lose his battle. It is just a shame that really good people get ALS
