State Advocacy

Our Chapter is the only Massachusetts ALS organization with the capacity to bring our community’s voices to federal and state lawmakers. Each year, we send advocates and families to Washington, D.C. to speak with members of Congress directly during ALS Advocacy Day. In 2021, our Chapter looks forward to bringing our community’s voice to Beacon Hill with our inaugural ALS State Advocacy Day. Our education and advocacy efforts focus on wide-ranging issues impacting the MA ALS community and work with key federal and state lawmakers who can help advance our legislative agenda. Our local ALS advocates represent our best, most passionate constituents; their personal stories draw awareness and resources to the people affected by this disease.
